Jesus Nativity Scene

In Cana we have been making some things about christmas. Today we made Nativity Scenes on some stones here is mine.

PE

Oreo Moons

Today in Cana we made Phases of the Moon out of oreos. We did them in pairs. My partner was Dewi. We had to shape oreos into all the moons. Here are the names. First quarter moon, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter moon, waning crescent, new moon and waxing crescent. Here is the things Me and Dewi made.

The Sun

In Cana we have been studying the solar system. Today we were studying the Sun. Me and Niamh made a Google Drawing that has 10 facts about the sun. Here it is. Here is another photo of me and Niamh painting the Sun.

St John

Yesterday Cana had St John visit us. The lady that was teaching us about staying safe and what to do when someone is hurts name is Catherine. At the end of St John Catherine gave the whole class some little first aid kits. Here is one of them.

Kites

Today in Cana we made kites for Matariki. Here is a photo of mine.

Flax Weaving

Today Cana had a visitor called  Whea Michelle. She taught us how to make a flower out of a flax. Here is me making mine. I enjoyed this, we also learnt the parts of the flax bush and their importance.

Samoa

One of the teachers called Mrs Bellis at St Patrick's went to Samoa. We had to make a slideshow about what she should bring, what she would see and more. Here is mine.

In Cana at St Patricks Primary School Greymouth we had to make cards for our principal that is leaving here is mine.
